Construction of new 50 foot by 80 foot single story steel building with partial second floor level on land owned by the Brewerton Fire District. Work shall generally include but not be limited to; Site demolition, site grading and erosion control, asphalt and concrete pavements, site features and landscaping, Layout and building staking, Site utilities and connection to public services including required permits and fees. New pre-engineered metal building system including but not limited to steel framing, metal roofing, metal siding, liner panel, insulation package, fenestration. Interior slab on grade f. Interior masonry training wall and elevated partial second floor training room, Second floor structural steel framing, metal stair and miscellaneous metal, Interior Restroom, Custodial Room and Electric Room, Interior finishes and paint, Electrical power and lighting at interior and exterior, Electric baseboard heating, gas fired unit heaters and fan ventilation, Plumbing underfloor and overhead, water supply piping, backflow preventer, gas piping, plumbing fixtures and appliances. Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of an acceptable bid bond, executed by the Bidder and acceptable surety in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Base Bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Performance and payment bonds for one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum will be required of the successful bidder. The Agreement will be written between the successful Bidder and the Owner. No Bid will be considered unless received at the specified time, date address and in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularity in the bids and in the bidding.
