Renewable Energy System - The City of Bloomington ("City") is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to design, build, and maintain a solar photovoltaic (PV) installation on City property and provide power to the Public Works Facility. The proposed roof area was replaced in 2022 with 60 MIL Nonreinforced EPDM Adhered to HD cover board. The provider will be responsible for determining load characteristics for any roof installation to ensure the warranties remain in place and to avoid damage to existing roof. The City is seeking proposals from interested firms that are capable of designing, engineering, installing, and maintaining a solar PV project on the roof ofthe Public Works Facility, located at 1700 West 98th Street, Bloomington, MN 55431. The City of Bloomington is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to design, build, and maintain a solar photovoltaic (PV) installation on City property and provide power to the Public Works Facility. Question Deadline: Tue Jan 16, 2024 5:00 PM (CST) - The proposer will design, procure, install and maintain the solar photovoltaic system. This project is all inclusive and includes planning, engineering, labor, materials, delivery, installation and commissioning, as well as all warranties and maintenance. This includes all structural and utility modifications that are required. The city is planning a 2-year maintenance contract as part ofthis project. The agreement will cover the maintenance requirements specified in Operations and Maintenance manuals for this solar installation. - The proposer shall include in its proposal all elements necessary for a turn-key project including rebate applications, grid connection agreement, all permits and approval from governing agencies and all labor, taxes, services and equipment. Proposer shall apply for and obtain all necessary permits required by the City and all regulatory agencies including federal, state and local jurisdictions. Permit fees will be paid by the City.
