The City of Fayetteville is accepting sealed bids from properly licensed firms for the relocation of various water mains and sanitary sewers along Arkansas Highway 16. Questions regarding this bid should be addressed to Amanda Beilfuss, Sr. Purchasing Agent at abeilfuss@fayetteville-ar.gov. Question Cutoff Date: 1/18/2024 06:00 PM 5% Bid Bond of the amount bid accompanied by required documentation Each bid exceeding $50,000 shall be accompanied by a cashier's check from a bank doing business in the State of Arkansas or a corporate bid bond for five (5) percent of the amount bid. In the event a bidder opts to submit a cashier's check for a bid bond, the actual physical cashier's check shall be delivered to the City prior to the deadline. A one hundred percent (100%) performance bond and separate payment bond is required with the contract awarded. A State of Arkansas Contractor's License is required for all bids exceeding $50,000 and license shall be valid at the time of bid deadline. Any vendor performing a service shall be registered with the Arkansas Secretary of State. Pursuant to Arkansas Code Annotated The City of Fayetteville encourages all qualified small, minority and women business enterprises to bid on and receive contracts for goods, services, and construction. Also, City of Fayetteville encourages all general contractors to subcontract portions of their contract to qualified small, minority and women business enterprises. The City of Fayetteville reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject bids, and postpone the award of any Contract for a period which shall not exceed beyond ninety (90) days from the bid opening date.
