Douglass Park Tennis/ Pickleball Courts Renovations. Question Deadline 01/12/2024 at 12:00 PM ET The PennBid website allows for bidders to post questions and Engineer responses. The questions and responses shall be considered part of the bid documents and will be incorporated into the bid documents through a statement in an addendum, The questions will be answered by 5:00 PM, January 12, 2024. RESPONSIBILITY OF CONTRACTOR A. This project scope is the complete renovation of the tennis/ pickle ball courts per the design plans. B. The anticipated Notice To Proceed date is March 1, 2024 with a 90 day completion time frame. 1.2 CONSTRUCTION LIMITS A. Contractor shall confine their operations strictly within the limits of rights-of-way and easements as indicated by the plans and/or directed by the Engineers, unless written permission is obtained to occupy additional ground. Upon completion of work the Contractor shall cleanup and restore the area of their operations to a condition at least equal to original conditions. Unless specified elsewhere herein, all restoration shall be included in the Contractor's unit and/or lump sum price bid. Damage to property outside of specified construction limits shall be the responsibility of the Contractor and restoration of same shall be made at the Contractor's expense. 1.3 MEASUREMENT OF WORK AND MATERIALS A. The Contractor will be paid for the actual quantity of authorized work or material furnished under each item of the contract, at the prices stipulated for each item. If the quantity of any unit price item is decreased the Contractor shall have no claim for damages on the basis of loss of anticipated profits. All quantities of work and materials to be paid will be determined by the Engineers in accordance with working lines specified in the contract documents.
