Contractor agrees to provide to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) all labor, materials, supplies, parts (including all types of mounting brackets and conduit), equipment, travel, and incidentals necessary to provide and install 23 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)-compliant security cameras and a NDAA-compliant Network Video Recorder (NVR), throughout the Caltrans District 2 Facility. The services shall be performed at Caltrans District 2 Office, located at 1657 Riverside Drive, Redding, CA 96001, within Shasta County. Written Question Submittal 01/04/2024 2:00 p.m. Start date February 1,2024 Through end date January 31 , 2025 . Contractors License Bidder must have, at time of bid submittal and for the duration of the contract, a valid, current C-7 (Low Voltage Systems Contractor) or C-10 (Electrical Contractor) license issued by the CSLB, for the type of work to be performed. the Agreement may be terminated and liquidated damages of $500.00 assessed for administrative costs for re-bidding the work or awarding the work to another contractor. If the total bid amount is under $15,000, then Prevailing Wage language will be removed prior to award Payment Bond Requirement: If the successful bidders bid exceeds $25,000, the successful bidder shall furnish a Payment Bond for not less than 100 percent (100%) of the total amount payable by the terms of this Agreement. The Payment Bond is due prior to the start date of work "This solicitation is authorized pursuant to Government Code Section 14838.7, which provides for the award of contracts for the acquisition of construction, including the erection, construction, alteration, repair, or improvement of any State structure, building, road, or other State improvement of any kind, that has an estimated value of greater than $5,000.00, but not more than $388,000.00, to a certified SB, including a micro business (MB), SB for the purpose of public works (SB-PW), or a disabled veteran business enterprise (DVBE).
