Mingus Union High School District is seeking bids for IFB #23-24-001 for the Mingus High School HVAC Units Replacement Project. The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract with a qualified Contractor for the HVAC units replacement project at Mingus Union High School. Remove and replace a total of ninety-five (95) rooftop units located at Buildings 100, 200, 300 and 600; refer to plans. The new units shall be of tonnage, electrical, duct configuration and installed at same locations. Coordinate with plans, general notes and details. The test and balance contractor shall take CFM readings at existing diffusers level for 15 of the new 95 units installed (average 5 grilles per unit). Three (3) copies of readings TBA report shall be provided. The District and engineer will select the 15 units. Contract shall field verify the demo RTU model numbers and notify the engineer of any discrepancies prior to ordering new equipment. Commissioning of the new system shall be required. The contractor shall coordinate with the school personnel on the work schedule. The work shall be phased in so that buildings can remain open during school hours.
