Address questions to: Borough Procurement Officer Amy Briggs 1900 First Avenue, Ste. 118 Ketchikan, Alaska 99901 Telephone: 907-228-6637 E-mail: amyb@kgbak.us Deadline for questions, objections, or protests relating to defects, errors, omissions regarding the project or this IFB Noon / December 28, 2023 SCOPE OF WORK WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS The Work is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: o The removal of the existing lower field chain link field fencing, fence posts, backstop and selected concrete sidewalks. o Installation of owner supplied storm drainage piping; owner supplied concrete structures. o Installation of owner supplied concrete blocks for walls and grading. o Cut and fill of existing field sand surfacing. o Furnish and Install Field Perimeter Concrete Curbs. o Install owner furnished chain link fence, fence posts, backstops, foul poles, and other fencing appurtenances. o Install owner-supplied scoreboard. o Furnish and install concrete sidewalk, concrete slabs and concrete valley gutter. o Construct or relocate concrete dugouts. o Remove, salvage, and install existing wood perimeter curbing. o Restore field surface with owner-supplied surfacing sand. o Installation of owner-supplied water and sewer utilities for a new concrete, pre-fabricated restroom structure, including all in- and off-road trenching and backfill. o Installation of pre-fabricated restroom structure, including all grade preparation, under-slab utilities, final tie in of water, sewer, electrical and telecommunications, conveyance and setting, post-tensioning, hole filling, joint sealing, and such other work as is necessary. BID BOND: Bidder shall submit with their bid or price bid component, a bid bond accompanied by Power of Attorney, or cashier's check.
