Construction services including sewer maintenance and repair, roads and highways and excavation and backfill services, levee and dam construction and digging, ditching, road grading, rock stabilization, equipment rental or lease, and energy conservation. If any provision or specification in this "Invitation to Bid" (ITB) is ambiguous or is disputed by a bidder, the bidder must notify the County Purchasing Division prior to the opening of the bids. No dispute or protest concerning the ambiguity of these specifications or provisions of the ITB shall be accepted following opening of the bids. The Project consists of installing a 125-foot long 14-feet wide by 5-feet tall box culvert under 4000 North near 3600 West. The following is a general sequence of Work to be completed under this project: A. Coordinate with the box culvert precast company regarding schedule of delivery; B. Excavate the location for the proposed culvert; C. Install the precast box culvert in the proposed location; D. Backfill box culvert to existing grade; E. Excavate, remove and dispose of existing culvert; F. Replace road structure at proposed and existing culvert locations; G. All work done according to applicable APWA Standards and Specifications. A pre-bid conference will not be held for this project. Site visits and due diligence is highly encouraged. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. All questions shall be submitted through SciQuest Utah Public Procurement Place. The County will determine the low bidders based upon price(s) bid. Award will be to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest cost including delivery and any additional costs. The County reserves the right to award multiple purchase orders to the responsive, responsible bidders meeting specifications who bid the lowest overall cost to the County. Weber County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality or irregularity in any bid or bids, if to do so is in the best interest of the County
