The Town of Westford is seeking sealed bids for the Cleaning and Redevelopment of Cote Well. All questions or inquiries related to this bid may be submitted until Thursday December 28, 2023 at 4:00 PM via email to tmaa@westfordma.gov. Each Bid must be accompanied by a 50% payment bond consisting of a BID BOND or, CERTIFIED CHECK issued by a responsible bank or trust company if the contract is over $25,000. All bids must be submitted on the bid form supplied. All forms must be either typewritten or written in ink. 1. Mobilization, installation, removal, and demobilization of all equipment for the well cleaning performance; 2. Performance of a pre and post cleaning pump and well test to obtain specific capacity and pump performance data; 3. Removal, disassembly, and cleaning of the existing pump equipment and motor for visual inspection by Westford Water Department along with refurbishing recommendations and cost quotations; 4. Remote camera inspection of the well, including well screen, prior to and following redevelopment. 5. Chemical and mechanical cleaning and rehabilitation of the well; 6. Neutralization and disposal of chemicals used in the cleaning process; 7. Reinstallation of the pump equipment and motor after work has been satisfactorily completed; 8. Erosion control, miscellaneous work and cleanup; 9. Report of all pertinent well data, including work done, repair parts, and redevelopment results, to be furnished to the Westford Water Department at the completion of redevelopment.
