Location: The project begins at the Eastern approach of the trail in St. Johnsbury at the intersection with South Main Street (Sta. 34+19) and extends westerly 94.2 miles to the Western approach of the trail in Swanton at the intersection of Robin Hood Drive (Sta. 5006+73). Type of Construction: Work to be performed under this contract includes removal and replacement of signage along the trail corridor, wayfinding signage along State highways, and installation of accessible roadway crossing features at numerous trail crossings. For this proposal the Engineer's Estimate is Category B $250,000 - $500,000 All bidders on this project must hold both current annual Prequalification with the Vermont Agency of Transportation through the "Contractor's Experience Questionnaire and Financial Statement" and unconditioned project-specific approval through the "Standard Form - Request for Proposal" CA-82 form This Contract shall be completed on or before September 01, 2024. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, to waive any formality, and any and all technicalities in bids, and to accept such bids as may be deemed in the best interest of the awarding agency. VT DOT - Swanton - St. Johnsbury STP LVRT(14) *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The deadline for submitting inquiries related to this project to the Office of Contract Administration is 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time on December 27, 2023. No exceptions will be made to this requirement.
