Reference Number 0000337409 Question Acceptance Deadline 12/29/2023 05:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online Yes, Contact: Pam Roeding, ISM - CPM, CPSD Email Address: pam.roeding@longmontcolorado.gov Telephone Number: 303-651-8345 Bid Intent Deadline 1/25/24 2:00 PM MST/MDT 1. Safety & Justice Building, 225 Kimbark St. Dead end of Kimbark St. South side of building. 2. Civic Center, 350 Kimbark St. East Side in upper loading dock. 3. Recreation Center, 310 Quail Rd. Midpoint of building on East Side. 4. Senior Center, 910 Longs Peak Ave. Northwest corner of building. The Civic Center and the Safety & Justice Building each have existing generators that are over 30 years old which power limited portions of each building. The Recreation Center and Senior Center have small generators that only provide power for the city fiber network. None of the generators power the entire building or HVAC. The new systems will power the entire building including HVAC so emergency operations and sheltering can be carried out without interruption in the event of a power outage. The goal is to replace four existing emergency generators and related electrical work at four City facilities with new equipment as per drawings. Continuous operations at each of these facilities during construction is critical. A Bid Guarantee in an amount equal to 5% of the total Bid amount is required at the time of the Bid Opening. The Guarantee must be a Bid Bond executed by the Bidder on the City's own form, or a cashier's check payable to the City of Longmont. The City of Longmont reserves the right to cancel this Invitation to Bid; reject any bid, in whole or in part; to adjust the quantity of Work to be done as mandated by budgetary requirements; and to waive informalities or irregularities in the bids received; when it is in the City's best interest to do so.
