PROJECT VISTA (DFJ) SITE INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS The scope of the project consists of site preparation, grading, drainage, utilities, roadway improvements on Apollo Blvd, rehabilitation of Taxiway S, construction of Taxiway H, airfield lighting and signage, perimeter fencing, and construction of a multi-tenant PCC apron pavement associated with the DFJ Program Requirements. Notice to Proceed for the project will be issued upon completion of all preconstruction activities and permitting. Contract time from NTP is 254 calendar days, which includes up to 60 calendar days for procurement and 14 calendar days for closeout. Questions regarding the project must be submitted in writing via email to Sandra Acevedo at sacevedo@mlbair.com. The last day for questions will be January 8, 2024 at the close of business. Last addendum will be issued on January 10, 2024. No proposals may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for receipt of proposals, for a period of One Hundred and Twenty (120) days. The Melbourne Airport Authority reserves the rights to waive any informalities or reject any and all proposals, or to re-advertise for proposals. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the Total Amount Bid must be submitted with the proposal. A Payment Bond and a Performance Bond, each in sum equal to 100% of the amount of the Contract awarded, will be required prior to execution of contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject all proposals with or without cause, to waive technical errors and informalities, and to accept the proposal that best serves the Owner. The award of this Contract may be contingent upon the concurrence of the Florida Department of Transportation.
