Annual Contract: HVAC Water Utilities Dept. - SRWRF, AHU 1 & AHU 2 Replacement Qualification of Contractors. Qualification is required in order to bid for projects under this Annual Contract. Palm Beach County reserves the right to waive any bid irregularities, informalities, or technical deficiencies and to reject any and all quotes/bids. Questions must be e-mailed to FDO-CID-Bids@pbcgov.org at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid due date. This Quote/Bid is to furnish all material, labor, supervision, permits and supplies necessary and reasonably incidental to relocate Air Handler Units (AHUs) 1 and 2 above switchgear per the project requirements provided by Capital Improvements Division in this Invitation for Quote/Bid on Attachment "C" and all exhibits and addenda thereto. Work is to be done under the terms and conditions of Palm Beach County's Annual Contract - HVAC, and pursuant to the conditions of the Work Order, both of which are incorporated into the Contract Documents by reference To relocate Air Handler Units (AHUs) 1 and 2 above switchgear per the project requirements provided below: a. Remove existing units, furnish and install two (2) new water source heat pumps and accessories according to the specifications provided by the engineer and shown in Exhibit "1". b. The Contractor shall provide temporary cooling suitable for the areas until the new water source heat pumps are fully functional. c. A Fire Smoke Duct Detector pretest shall be performed in the presence of an Electronic Services and Security (ESS) Technician. A fire final shall also be performed in the presence of an ESS Technician and Fire Safety Inspector. d. Duct Smoke Detectors shall be replaced as specified in the design documents
