This project includes: Bidding on an addition to the Village of Long Groves existing Village Hall as well as interior renovations and exterior work to the existing Village Hall building. Construction of the building addition includes but not limited to site improvements, earthwork, excavations, concrete foundations, slab on grade, wood & metal framing, roofing, windows, siding, finishes, painting, gypsum board walls and ceilings, acoustic ceilings, carpet, hard tile, millwork, finish carpentry, solid surface, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, lighting, technology, and audio visual. Renovations to the existing building include but are not limited to selective demolition, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, framing, interior finishes, window replacement, and restoration of the exterior of the existing building. Prospective bidder may choose to purchase hard copies of the Bidding Documents from American Reprographics Company at their own expense. Prospective bidders may choose to purchase hard copies of the Bidding Documents from American Reprographics Company at their own expense. Make proposals on the bid forms supplied in the Project Manual. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid, a certified check or acceptable bidders bond payable to Village of Long Grove in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Performance Bond. The successful bidder is required to pay the general prevailing wage for work as ascertained by the Illinois Department of Labor, and shall submit certified payroll records, in compliance with the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) and shall comply with all applicable Illinois statutory requirements regarding labor, including Equal Employment Opportunity laws. Bids may not be withdrawn within thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of opening bids, without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts of such bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. The Owner requires Substantial Completion of the project on or before January 31, 2025.
