The Alameda County Office of Education ("ACOE") invites statements of qualification from qualified persons, firms, partnerships, corporations, associations, or professional organizations to provide architectural planning and design services to ACOE in compliance with all the requirements of the Division of the State Architect and other possible agencies. If you have Requests for Information (RFIs) regarding this Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") please email Charity Hastings @ chastings@acoe.org on or before December 18, 2023 at 11am. Responses will be posted on our website on December 21, 2023 @ 11am. ACOE may, at its discretion, interview some or all of the respondents. ACOE intends to schedule these interviews in late-January 2024, respondents will be notified of their inclusion in this portion of the process on or about January 12, 2024. This RFQ isneither a formal request for bids, nor an offer by ACOE to contract with any party responding to this RFQ. ACOE reserves the right to reject any and all responses. ACOE also reserves the right to amend this RFQ as necessary. All materials submitted to ACOE in response to this RFQ shall remain property of ACOE. Some examples of projects expected to be completed in the next 3-5 years include: HVAC Replacement at Winton Window Seals Electrical Service Upgrade (New Service/Distribution) IT Upgrades (UPS Replacement, Cable Upgrade) Roof Replacement Exterior Painting/Stucco Repair Upgrade Flagpole Interior Space Reconfiguration The Scope of Services includes full architectural services through the design and construction phases of a project including engineering services. The Scope of Services shall also include preparation of a program/space allocation and Project budget for the facility. The Project Architect will also meet, as needed, with ACOE Facilities staff, neighborhood and school organizations, and upper level ACOE administrators for programming guidance.
