North Cross Street Watermain Improvements a City of Sycamore Project consisting of horizontal directional drilled 10" water main, valves, vaults, frames, lids and appurtenances, abandonment of the existing water main and associated restoration in the City Sycamore, Illinois. Questions should be directed to bids @cityofsycamore.com Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, bank draft, cashier's check or certified check payable to the order of the City of Sycamore, Illinois in an amount not less than ten (10) percent of the amount of the bid, as a guaranty that the bidder will execute the contract, if it is awarded, in conformity with the bid form. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds on forms provided in the Specifications and Contract Documents, in an amount equal to 110 percent and 100 percent of the contract sum, respectively. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive or not to waive any informalities therein. Work Description o Horizontal directional drilled 10" water main. o Valves, vaults, frames, lids and appurtenances. o Fire hydrant assembly o Water main pressure connection. o Testing and chlorination of new water main. o Abandon existing water main. o Turf, pavement, curb & gutter, etc. replacement. o Other work as described within the plans and specifications.
