CITY OF PERRYSBURG DOWNTOWN PARKING AND PAVING IMPROVEMENTS This project consists of four (4) small projects that are all located in the downtown area. The first location is on East Second Street between the first north-south alley east of Louisiana Avenue to Elm Street. The project will remove some of the existing pavement and tree lawn so that perpendicular parking spaces can be added similar to what is existing on Second Street between the project location and Louisiana Avenue. The second location is at the corner of Third Street and Elm Street. This project will remove some of the existing pavement within the right of way to allow for the construction of a curbed island to keep vehicles from parking where they will block the view of cross traffic for vehicles on Third Street turning onto Elm Street. The third location is at the corner of Third Street and Walnut Street. This project will remove an existing stone area within the right of way so that perpendicular parking spaces and a curbed island can be constructed. The final location is just west of Hood Park. This project will pave the remaining portion of the Maumee River Multi Use Path that was not paved with the rest of the project due to concern of it being damaged as a building was being constructed next to it. The building has been completed and the remaining section (approximately 200 feet) now needs to be paved. Questions relating to the interpretation of the Contract Documents should be directed to the Engineer, Service Director, or Law Director. A digital ID along with a per bid fee or monthly subscription will be required for bidders to submit an electronic bid. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the form of a Cashiers Check, Certified Check, or Letter of Credit payable to the City of Perrysburg, Ohio, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid or a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bid. A Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) on the contract price will be required as part of the contract. Prospective bidders may address inquiries to Brian Thomas through the online website. All inquiries must be submitted no later than January 8, 2024 at 10:00 am. The project is located within the City of Perrysburg corporation limits and is thereby eligible for City Income Tax collection. The City reserves the right reject any and all bids; and reserves the right to accept or reject any and all optional bids offered; and reserves the right to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the bids received.
