This Request for Pre-qualifications is issued by the Town of Castle Rock, Water Department to engage qualified Contractors to provide construction services for various Castle Rock Water projects. Projects may include water transmission pipelines up to 30-inches, storage tank construction and demolition, water facilities maintenance; water distribution rehab and replacement; and wastewater collection facilities; sewer and manhole rehabilitation and replacement; sewer interceptor projects; horizontal directional drilling; guided auger boring. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all submittals. Late submittals will not be accepted. The Owner may also waive any and all formalities during the selection process. This is not a solicitation for proposals for any described project. Castle Rock Water has a number of capital improvement projects (CIP) that will be constructed within the 2024-2025 timeframe in several categories of work: Water Infrastructure: Water main installation may include projects constructed from DIP, PVC, steel, or HDPE pipe. The projects may include installation of pipelines in various sizes up to 42-inches in diameter. The pipeline work will include restrained pipe, valves, and other appurtenances. Projects may be constructed within existing paved roadways, open fields, or hanging under bridges. Construction methods may include open trench, horizontal directional drilling, and bore and jack, which may include work within environmentally sensitive habitat areas. Facilities Infrastructure: Facility maintenance and construction projects may include but are not limited to some of the following work: Construction of water conveyance storage, control and metering facilities. These projects may include wells, well facilities, pump stations, water treatment plants, water storage tanks (construction and demolition), and lift stations. These facilities projects may include metering vaults, valve vaults, electrical equipment installation, site piping, and operational controls. Water distribution facility projects may include Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV) vault replacement or maintenance. This may include removal and construction of new PRV vaults, including internal piping. Other projects may include replacement of water meters. These replacements may include installation of new meter pits or water metering vaults. Wastewater Infrastructure: Wastewater Projects may include gravity sewer mains up to 36 inches; force mains up to 16 inches; lift station and wet-well improvements; mixing system improvements; general facility upgrades. Pipeline projects may include bored projects under railroads, box culverts and highways, and/or through environmentally sensitive habitats. Sewer Rehab: Sewer rehab projects may include point repairs, main line replacement, Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation, and manhole rehabilitation using prefabricated inserts, and/or manhole replacement, with potential for sewer bypass. Stormwater Infrastructure: Stormwater Projects may include gravity storm sewer pipe; reinforced box culvert; drop structures; riprap revetment; Centrifugely Cast Concrete Pipe (CCCP) rehabilitation; temporary erosion and sediment control installation and maintenance; and land reclamation work. Sewer Rehab: Sewer rehab projects may include evaluation and design rehabilitation project. Repair methods may include point repairs, main line replacement, Cured in Place Pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation, and manhole rehabilitation using prefabricated inserts, and/or manhole replacement, with potential for sewer bypass
