The Town of Wallingford is seeking a contractor to provide and install a new sound system and to remove the existing sound system in the Council Chambers located in Wallingford Town Hall at 45 S. Main Street, Wallingford, CT - Room 208 The Town intends to award the bid to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest total cost installed. The award of the Contract is contingent on the Owner's financing of the project, which will be determined by the Town Council, and other financial authorities after the bids are received. Submitted in a sealed opaque envelope clearly marked as a public bid including the bid number and the bidders name and address. Made out and signed in the corporate, or other, name of bidder and signed by an authorized person to fully and properly execute the bid. Proposals received later than the time and date specified for the bid opening will not be considered. Amendments to or withdrawal of proposals received later than the time and date set for the opening will not be considered. In order to be considered, exceptions to the bid must be made on the exceptions page or a clearly marked attachment. Electronic Changes to Any of the Bid Pages Including the Specifications and General Terms & Conditions is Not Allowed and May Result in the Rejection of the Bid. Bidders or their representatives may be present at the bid opening.
