Reference Number 0000336794 The City Clerk of the City of Midland (City) will receive bids for the Tittabawassee River Pedestrian Corridor, Bid No. 4399. The is located in Emerson Park, 3311 W. Main St., Midland, Michigan and shall include but not be limited to concrete pathways and plazas, stone retaining wall, railing, renovation of the existing bridge, site furnishings, and site restoration. The site is open for site visits seven days a week during normal park hours. Funding is provided by the Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund and the City of Midland. Contract Time to Commence and Completion Award of the Contract is anticipated at the January, 22, 2024 City Council meeting, with contract signing to be completed immediately thereafter once the Contractor provides acceptable bonds and insurance certificates. Completion is required no later than June 30, 2024 unless extended in writing by the City of Midland. A certified check or bid bond for a sum of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the proposal will be required with each bid. The City reserves the right to accept or reject all or any part of any and all bids, to waive irregularities and to award in the best interest of the City of Midland.
