Bids can be submitted to Taylor Borough Building, 122 Union Street, Taylor, PA 18517 between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. Bids are invited for the following contract: TAYLOR BOROUGH DPW GARAGE DOOR UPGRADES PROJECT CONTRACT Prospective bidders are urged to familiarize themselves with the site and review the scope of work and construction documents. Any Contractor who does not do so and submits a bid, does so at their own risk. All Bidding Contractors are requested to attend. BID SECURITY in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for 100% of their bid amount and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of their bid amount within 15 days of the contract being awarded. This project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The project is funded by a grant from the Local Share Account (LSA) Program Grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority and all requirements of this Authority are to be met by the Bidders. The successful bid will be required to submit NonDiscrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause which is contained in the Contract Documents. The Taylor Borough does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability of familial status in employment of the provision of service. The Taylor Borough is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. The Taylor Borough reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive informalities in the bidding. BIDS may be held by the Taylor Borough for a period not to exceed Sixty (60) days from the date of the Opening of the Bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids, prior to awarding the Contract. In this period of time, no Bidder may withdraw their Bid. Question Deadline 01/01/2024 Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Owner.
