Contract#: SAMHS00380 Federal# / IRIS Program#: 9500158 / SAMHS00380 The Engineer's Estimate is between Between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000 Hire a Shipyard Contractor to perform construction services. Project work includes, but is not limited to, general requirements, lot work, Administrative and Temporary Services, Field Office, Preconstruction Conference, Training, DBE, Planning Scheduling and Technical Documentation, Ship Service Diesel Generator Replacement, Machinery Control System Upgrades, Alarm and Monitoring System Upgrades, Waste Heat Boiler replacements and Exhaust System upgrades, Stability Assessment, Dock and Sea Trials, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program, Field Office and Pre-Construction Meeting, Training Program, and Vessel Preservations & Coatings. Scope of work also includes repair of wasted steel, regulatory required work, miscellaneous discovery work, and State funded regulatory required annual overhaul work. The apparent successful bidder must furnish a payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract and a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract as security conditioned for the full, complete and faithful performance of the contract. The apparent successful bidder must execute the said contract and bonds within fifteen calendar days, or such further time as may be allowed in writing by the Contracting Officer, after receiving notification of the acceptance of their bid.
