As of January 09, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The proposed work includes coordinating with City personnel to implement a bypass process for installation of new boilers so that service is maintained throughout boiler replacement. Furnish and install 84LF each of 2" SCH40 insulated hot water supply and return lines with all necessary appurtenances to tie into existing system in adjacent building. Remove 2 (two) existing boilers from the Building Management System (BMS) and prepare BMS to receive 2 (two) new City-provided boilers. Remove and dispose of old boilers off site. Install 2 (two) new City-supplied boilers and run all checks and testing to ensure prime performance of new boilers. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis for Contract No. CC-2023-G. All bids must be made on the official Bid Form or an exact copy by reproduction thereof and enclosed in a sealed envelope. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five calendar days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent of the maximum bid price, as determined by adding the base bid and all alternatives, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish construction performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract price. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all provisions of the Federal Government Equal Employment Opportunity clauses issued by the Secretary of Labor on May 21, 1968 and published in the Federal Register (41CFR Part 60-1, 33 F.2 7804). Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Addenda, if any, will be issued only to those companies whose name and address are on record with Cedarwood Engineering as having obtained the Contract Documents.
