The work of this project consists of renovations to the 2nd Floor areas of the La Crosse Police Department located within the City Hall building. The construction work is to be performed in 2 overlapping phases. Construction work includes but is not limited to the following: selective demolition; unit masonry; miscellaneous rough carpentry; architectural woodwork; solid surfacing; metal countertops; firestopping and joint sealants; expansion control systems; hollow metal door frames; wood doors; door hardware; mirrors and glazing; metal wall framing; gypsum board; extruded aluminum partition gap closures; tiling; resilient flooring and base; rubber stair treads, risers and landing tiles; acoustical panel ceilings and grid; tile carpeting; painting; fire protection specialties; corner guards; toilet and bath accessories; plumbing; mechanical; electrical; and data/communications work. Work is not expected to begin until February 2024 and all work shall be completed within 124 consecutive calendar days of commencing work. The City is contracting directly with an asbestos abatement contractor to perform the removal and disposal of asbestos containing materials disturbed or uncovered as part of the project work. Asbestos abatement work will be ongoing simultaneously with work under this contract. The General Contractor is required to interface and coordinate with work being done by the asbestos abatement contractor and any other work being performed by the City. Construction administration services will be provided by River Architects. Est. Completion Date: June 24, 2024 Pre-Qualification: Yes
