District-Wide Door Hardware Upgrades. West Bloomfield School District 5810 Commerce Rd. West Bloomfield, Michigan 48324. SCOPE A. Remove portions of existing building as indicated on Drawings including, but not limited to, the following. 1. Remove other items indicated, for salvage and relocation. 2. Unless otherwise indicated, fill excavations, open pits, and holes in ground areas generated as result of removals, using specified fill; compact fill as specified in Division The Owner will not accept a bid that does not include all of these forms and statements. The successful Bidder shall provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The cost of such bonds shall be included in the Bid Proposal. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bid Proposals, either in whole or in part, and to waive any informalities and irregularities in the Bid Proposals and in the bidding. This mutual waiver is applicable, without limitation, to all consequential damages due to either party’s termination in accordance with Article 14. Nothing contained in this Section 15.1.7 shall be deemed to preclude assessment of liquidated damages, when applicable, in accordance with the requirements of the Contract Documents. The security deposit of the Accepted Bidder shall be retained as liquidated damages by the Owner if the Accepted Bidder fails to execute the Contract Agreement, fails to furnish Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond, or fails to provide Certificate of Insurance as specified, within 10 days after notification of the award of Contract.
