No definite date for the rebid.** Water Filtration Tanks Upgrades and Rehabilitation Project All bids shall be presented to the City Clerk before this time. The proposed work shall be completed within 120 calendar days (plus State Holidays) from the "Notice to Proceed" date, and includes the following major items: Rehabilitate three (3) 10-ft. diameter x 7-ft. high Water Filtration Tanks Replace three (3) Steel pipe Hub-lateral Influent Distributor/Waste Collectors Replace 1050 c.f. of Filter Media Replace 3 sets of 52 stainless steel 5" square sand valves Replace 24 butterfly valves with electric actuators Replace two (2) 100 SCFM pressure air blowers. Each proposal bid must be accompanied by: a Proposal (Bid) Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, of which, the amount of the bond or certified check need not exceed $20,000, made payable to the "City of Woodbury". All erasures, interpolations, or other physical changes on the bid form shall be initialed or signed by the bidder. The successful bidder will be required to furnish, within ten (10) days after the award, a Surety Corporation Performance Bond or Letter of Credit equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price AND a separate Payment Bond or Letter of Credit equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. All applicable surety bonds or LOC required must be written by a surety company listed on the Federal Treasury List (Department Circular 570-Surety Companies Acceptable on Federal Bonds) and such surety company must be acceptable to the City Solicitor and authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Bids must be prepared on the standard proposal forms provided, in the manner designated therein.
