The Project consist of the construction of a new Performing Arts Center Building including but not limited to utilities dry and wet, site work, finishes, landscape and irrigation, etc, at Temple Academy. This description is a general description which may not include all the items which the bidder shall include in the proposal, refer to the drawings and project manual for entire scope of work. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to have been prequalified by the District, any bid submitted by a bidder who is not prequalified shall be non-responsive. In addition, if the Project has electrical, mechanical, or plumbing ("MEP") components that will be performed by subcontractors performing under the following license classification(s), then each of those subcontractors that intend to bid as a first-tier subcontractor to a general contractor (prime contractor) are required to be prequalified by the District: C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and/or C-46. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure that all MEP subcontractors holding any of the licenses listed above are properly prequalified before submitting a bid. Moreover, any bid listing subcontractors holding any of the licenses mentioned above, who have not been prequalified, shall be deemed nonresponsive and will not be considered. This prequalification requirement applies even if the subcontractor will perform, or is designated to perform, work that does not require one of the licenses listed above, but the subcontractor holds one of the licenses listed above. The District has an established a list of prequalified MEP subcontractors for this project but will afford additional first tier subcontractors the opportunity to join that list by submitting prequalification. Questionnaires must be received by 2:00p.m., December 1, 2023, at the District Office, located at 15959 E. Gale Avenue, City of Industry, CA 91745. Contractor License Classification Required: A or B The Board of Education reserves the right to reject all bids, and to waive any irregularity therein.
