As of December 14, 2024 project is under review by the Engineer and the Town, so no award yet Leyden 10 Mile Bridge Deck Repairs. The scope of work for this project construction consists of preservation repairs to the existing reinforced concrete deck and includes deck joint seal replacements and the removal and replacement of the existing hot mix asphalt wearing surface. The work shall include implementation of the temporary traffic controls during construction, installation of temporary protective shielding (if needed), partial and full depth deck repairs, application of spray-applied membrane waterproofing, cleaning of existing reinforcement to be retained, addition of supplemental reinforcing steel when existing bars exhibit severe corrosion, cleaning of existing concrete surfaces onto which new concrete is to be placed, and forming, placement, finishing, and curing of proposed repair concrete.
