After the official Bid closing time, Bids will be opened, reviewed and, if accepted, displayed. To access the electronic bid form, download the project documents and click the online bidding button at the top of advertisement. Construction of the NORTH PARK IMPROVEMENTS includes: tree clearing and grubbing, excavation, grading, base aggregate dense, concrete sidewalk, brick pavers, asphaltic pavement, court striping, tree, bush and perennial plantings, and erosion control. Approximate quantities include: 900 cubic yards of excavation, 450 tons of base aggregate dense, 100 tons of asphaltic pavement, 550 square feet of brick pavers, 7,785 square feet of concrete sidewalk, and stage/amphitheater slab/footings. \ This is a unit price contract. The estimated quantities as indicated above and on the Bid Schedule are inserted only for the purpose of determining the low bidder. The electronic bid form will be available for completion beginning Thursday, November 2, 2023. Project is anticipated to begin on or after April 1, 2024, and to be complete on, or before, August 16, 2024. \ The Contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 61.54, 62.15 and 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. \ All bidders must file a "Bidder's Proof of Responsibility" with the Owner a minimum of 7 days prior to bid opening. \ Bids shall be submitted on the electronic Bid Form provided through Electronically. All blanks must be filled in for the bid to be accepted. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days from the date of the bid opening. Failure to list subcontractors or suppliers may be cause for rejection of the Bid. \ Bids shall be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to the Owner in an amount of five (5) percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. If the successful bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish the required bonds within 15 days after the Award, the Bid Security shall be forfeited to Owner as liquidated damages. The Owner has the right to reject any and/or all bids received, to waive any minor defects or irregularities that may be found in the bids, and to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the Owner, subject to the provisions of Sections 62.15 and 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. \ Bidder awarded a contract for the work shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract price. Prime Contractor(s) shall furnish listing of all subcontractors and suppliers performing labor and supplying materials under the Contract that individually have a total value of $1,000 or more.
