It's the desire of Escambia County to maintain visual aspects of all County buildings to match their surrounding areas. In order to achieve this, four County owned vertical structures on Pensacola Beach will need to be pressure washed, exterior patched, and repainted to match other facilities in the area. All existing parks on Pensacola Beach (Quietwater Beach, Park West, Park East, and Casino Beach) were recently repainted as a result of the Hurricane Sally damages received in September 2020. Because the remaining buildings were not part of these repairs, their facade doesn't match the other buildings. Careful consideration should be given when bidding this project due to exposure to the elements and time to complete the project. All work will be required to be completed between November 1, 2023 and March 30, 2024. The contractor may be required to cover each area being pressure washed to prevent paint chips from being blown around and contaminating the soils on Pensacola Beach. The paint must be durable and long lasting while being able to withstand the environmental exposures subjected to on the Gulf of Mexico. Question Submission Deadline:October 27, 2023, 1:00pm This is an effort to obtain a quote from various vendors in order to secure funding for the project.
