THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR INVITATION FOR BID. SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS AND DRAWINGS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. The tracking number for this announcement is W912P8-24-SS-0004. The Government will use responses to this SOURCES SOUGHT synopsis to make appropriate acquisition decisions regarding this procurement. Scope of Work: The work consists of the removal and satisfactory disposal of dredged material excavated from the Tiger Pass Bar Channel, within the limits shown on the contract drawings from approximately Mile 7.5 to Mile 13.0, to a depth of 10 ft. MLG. There is a region of concentrated oil and gas pipeline utilities in the vicinity of Mile 9.75 to 10.25. The scope of work also includes a line item for utility location investigation in the concentrated utilities region. The performance period for the project will be approximately 240 days, with work to commence within 60- days of notice to proceed. Contract award is estimated to be in the first quarter of calendar year 2024. The estimated value of this work is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Are you interested in bidding on the proposed scope of work If not, why not 2.) Does your company own or have access to, the appropriate plant and equipment available to perform the scope of work Please list the major components of plant and equipment your company would use. 3.) Describe the method your company would utilize to determine the location of oil and gas pipeline utilities known to exist beneath the shoaled channel in the vicinity of mile 9.75 to 10.25. 4.) Describe any innovative or unusual methods (if applicable) your company would apply to dredging in unusually shallow conditions, with some areas of congested utilities. 5.) Do you have concerns with dredging Tiger Pass inbound from the Gulf of Mexico side of the channel If so, please list the concerns, along with any suggestions for mitigating them in our specifications. IMPORTANT: A response to this SOURCES SOUGHT synopsis is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist the Corps in tailoring requirements to be consistent with industry capabilities. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is neither to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents WILL NOT be notified of the results of the evaluation. Statements that do not meet all requirements or are not submitted within the allotted time will not be considered.
