This Contract comprises supply, installation, a twenty-four (24) months standard warranty, and separate pricing for five years extended warranty for the accessibility lift. For the purpose of this contract, the owner will be represented by the Project Manager appointed by BGIS who will fulfill the role defined for the BGIS Representative in these specifications. 1. Demolition of the existing accessible lift to accommodate the new one as specified; 2. Renovation of the Hoistway to accommodate the new accessible lift as specified; 3. Supply and install a new accessibility lift with the door as specified; 4. Supply and install new lift doors (90-degree angle of rotation); 5. Supply and install all hydraulic hoses as specified; 6. Supply and install all applicable communication and system controls as specified; 7. Supply and install lighting as specified; 8. Any damage caused by investigation, demolition, or construction activities is to be repaired or replaced by the contractor at the contractor's expense; 9. Perform commissioning as per specifications; 10. Record Drawings and Operations and Maintenance manuals; 11. Provision of temporary lift during demolition and construction; 12. Equipment delivery within eight (8) weeks of obtaining of PO; 13. The building permit only has been applied for by the consultant. The contractor will handle every other relevant statutory permit; 14. Tender submission must include the name of the Accessibility Platform Lift manufacturer and the model number included in their tender; 15. The contractor is responsible that the selected Accessibility Platform Lift meets all the specifications on drawing and NMS documents and all applicable provincial, municipal, and federal codes.
