This project is included in the City and County of Honolulu Capital Improvement Plan fiscal years 2023-2028. As of October 24, 2023, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. A firm timeline for construction has not been established; however, construction is anticipated to begin July 2026. This project will address projected hydraulic deficiencies in the Manoa sewer mainlines and in the Manoa collection sewers, and will address structural deficiencies as determined in the planning phase. Project scope includes sewers located in the vicinity of East Manoa Road, Lowrey Avenue, Kahaloa Drive, Woodlawn Drive, and the University of Hawaii at Manoa Campus. With FY22 funds for planning, the project also includes Consent Decree required segments allowed to be done "after 2020", for project SI-CS-15, and segments in the vicinity needing upgrade to provide capacity. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
