Q And A Open10/20/2023 11:46:00 PM Q And A Close11/9/2023 11:30:00 PM This Street and Stormwater Improvements Project, consists of public infrastructure improvements on SW 25th Street from SW Urish Road to SW Kingsrow Road. Improvements include various areas of asphalt mill and overlay, pavement reconstruction, curb and gutter replacement, sidewalk and ramp replacement. Project also includes replacing failing stormwater infrastructure. This is a rebid of Event 2850 with revisions to the original project scope. DESCRIPTION OF MAJOR UNITS OF WORK: Cold Milling (2") 9,892 SY Asphaltic Overlay (2") 10,244 SY Full Depth Pavement Patch 3,041 SY Concrete Sidewalk (All Widths)(R&R) 2,700 SF Sidewalk Ramp (R&R) 494 SF Concrete Curb and Gutter Replacement (All Types)(R&R) 687 LF Curb Inlet (Type I-P)(8'x4') 1 EA Curb Inlet-Manhole (Type II-P)(6' Dia.) 2 EA End Section (48")(RC) 2 EA Storm Sewer (15")(RCP) 313 LF Storm Sewer (48")(RCP) 280 LF Rock Excavation 450 CY BID SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: All bids must be accompanied by a cashier's check or a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid (including alternates), made payable to the City of Topeka, Kansas. The original bid security shall be in the office of Contracts and Procurement. A pre-bid conference will be held at N/A All Bids shall remain open for sixty (60) days after the day of the bid opening, but Owner may, in his sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid Security prior to that date. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted only through the City of Topeka's e-Procurement System at least 10 calendar days prior to the opening of Bids.
