The scope of work, without limiting the generality thereof, consists of furnishing and installing single and/or dual-lane metal detection systems at one of our high schools. The selected vendor(s) will provide operation manuals/ instructions and all submissions for approval to the Waterbury Public Schools (WPS) by the project start date. Equipment and software specifications and model cut sheets of each level of equipment must be submitted with the proposal. All questions and communications about this request for Proposal and submission requirements must be directed to the City of Waterbury ProcureWare website and must be received by 2:00 PM on October 27, 2023.Responses to questions submitted by the above date or identified at any Information Session to be held in regard to this RFP, along with any changes or amendments to this RFP, will be available via the City of Waterbury ProcureWare website by October 31, 2023 by 2:00 PM. The City reserves the right to award in part, to reject any and all proposals in whole or in part for misrepresentation or if the proposer is in default of any prior City contract, or if the proposal limits or modifies any of the terms and conditions and/or specifications of the RFP.
