The City of West Des Moines, Iowa, solicits interested parties to submit bids for Filter media replacement at the Valley View Aquatic Center located at 255 81st Street in West Des Moines, IA. Bids received after the announced time and date of receipt, by mail or otherwise, will be returned unopened. Nothing herein is intended to exclude any responsible firm or in any way restrain or restrict competition. The City of West Des Moines reserves the right to award in part or in whole or to reject any or all bids. Any bid submitted MUST be signed by an individual authorized to bind the bidder. All bids submitted without such signature will be deemed non-responsive, and will not be acceptable. All work involved under this contract shall be completed by Friday, April 5, 2024. Liquidated damages in the amount of Two Hundred dollars ($200.00) per day will be assessed for each day that the work remains uncompleted after the end of the listed completion date. The Bidder, in compliance with the Bid Documents for the above referenced Project, having carefully examined the site of the Work, the Drawings and Specifications affecting the work hereby proposes to furnish all labor, materials, supplies and services required to complete the improvements in accordance with the Contract Documents, within the time set forth therein, and at the price stated below.
