Reference Number 0000333457 The City of Birmingham, Michigan is accepting sealed bid proposals from qualified professional firms for the design, build, operation, and maintenance of publicly accessible self-service EVCS in the public right-of-way and on City-owned property. The Contractor shall design, build, operate and maintain EVCS, including the furnishing and installation of hardware with accompanying software implementation for facilitation and management of EVCS, primarily for public use in the City of Birmingham. All EVCS must have the ability to provide and receive an API interface with the City of Birmingham's parking enforcement systems allowing for enforcement integration and two-way commencement of charging, allowing for the ability to indicate charging from a charging station or parking meter. The Contractor shall be responsible for all costs associated with the deployment of EV charging station infrastructure, shall collect revenue for providing EV charging services to vehicle owners, and shall share a percentage of that revenue with the City under this model.
