SHA District 1 -Roadside Electrical Services - Misc. Repairs, Resets, and Energize Downed Highway Street Light Poles As-Needed at Various locations in Dorchester and Wicomico Counties. MDOT State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is soliciting bids for a licensed electrical contractor to perform misc. electrical repairs, resets, and Energize Downed Highway Street Light Poles (provided by the Administration), and other exterior electrical maintenance as needed at various locations in Dorchester and Wicomico Counties. Vendors are required to review the specification of this procurement before bidding to ensure they bid accordingly. The sole points of contact for purposes of this IFB are the Procurement Officer Mark Crampton or designee Diane Kutskel. They may be contacted at telephone number 410 677-4011 between 7:30 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. or by FAX 410 543-6598. NOTE: The vendor is solely responsible for ensuring any information sent to the Procurement Officer by FAX has been received by the Procurement Officer. Bids are not to be faxed. Vendors are responsible for assuring that their bids are delivered to the specified location before the deadline for receipt of bids, including those delivered by U.S. Postal Service. Oral, fax, telegraphic, mailgram or E-mail bids will not be accepted. Bids, requests for withdraws, and modifications not received by the time and at the place indicated are late and may only be considered in accordance with COMAR 21.05.02.10. No pre-bid conference will be held. All questions before or after bid opening may be directed to the procurement officer's designee, Ms. Diane Kutskel at the Salisbury District Office. Prices submitted in response to this solicitation are irrevocable for ninety (90) days following the due date. The Procurement Officer may, however, request vendors to extend the time during which the State may accept their bids. Once a bid is accepted, all prices, terms, and conditions shall remain unchanged throughout the contract period. The duration / term of the contract will not exceed 12 months. The contract written with the successful bidder will be for the successful total bid amount that does not exceed $50,000.
