A. The Project consists of, but is not limited to, demolition of an existing ramp, construction of a new Improvements Project, and repair of compromised flooring of Stahlman Park Building in Surfside Beach, Texas, and appurtenant items. 1. Project Location: 2211 Bluewater Hwy, Surfside Beach, Texas 2. Owner: Village of Surfside Beach B. Contract Documents dated October 2023 were prepared for the Project by Lynn Engineering. The project will consist of addition of an Improvements Project to the existing Stahlman Park Building to include the following types of work: building new ramp, carpentry, repairing compromised floor & decking of the building, other classes of work as may be required, and other appurtenant items. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Village of Surfside Beach or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Please submit questions for this project seven (7) days prior to bid opening The Village of Surfside Beach reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, to waive any and all technicalities and to accept any bid or part thereof, which in the opinion of the Village of Surfside Beach, is most advantageous to the Village of Surfside Beach. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating the prices in the bid, the Village of Surfside Beach reserves the right to consider the most advantageous bid thereof or to reject the bid. The Village of Surfside Beach reserves the right to negotiate with any and all individuals or firms that submit bids
