The CITY OF TALLULAH is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Contract D - Rehabilitation of Water Treatment Plant The Project includes the following Work: Rehabilitate Water Treatment Plant, Including Replacing Existing Ground Storage Tank With Two (2) 318,000 Gallon Ground Storage Tanks, Rehabilitation of Existing Lime and High Service Pump Building, Replacement of the Control Building, Replacement of Four (4) Pressure Filters, and Other Related Work. Owner anticipates that the Projects total bid price will be approximately $11,500,000. The Project has an expected duration of 360 calendar days. Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. All iron and steel products used in this project must be produced in the United States. The term iron and steel products means the following products made primarily of iron or steel: lined or unlined pipes and fittings, manhole covers and other municipal castings, hydrants, tanks, flanges, pipe clamps and restraints, valves, structural steel, reinforced precast concrete and Construction Materials.
