Culvert Replacement at Post Oak Rd. and Live Branch Creek Precinct 1. A Bid Bond from an approved surety company-holding permit from the State of Texas will be required. The Bid Bond must be in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid amount and must accompany each bid. If applicable, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the project. All bids shall be submitted on the basis of lump sum as provided in the bid specifications. Payment to successful bidder shall be net thirty (30) days after receipt of products, materials, services or invoices, whichever is later unless otherwise stated in specifications. This project replaces the culvert under Post Oak Rd at Live Branch Creek which is located 0.33 miles north of FM 830. This project replaces two pipes crossing Post Oak Rd with two 8'x8' box culverts. The above description of the scope of work is general in nature and is only intended to provide an overview of the project. The complete detailed scope of work and bid items are contained in the plans and specifications. The contractor will have 90 calendar days to complete the project.
