The approximate scope of work for this project involves installation of 1 Type C inlet (2 ea), 2X2 yard drain (1 ea),12 storm sewer (100 LF), and related restoration. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly endorsed on the outside for EISENHOWER AVENUE DRAINAGE EXTENSION and be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Township of Ridley. Attention of Bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid package, particularly to the PA Prevailing Wage Rates, Public Works Employment Verification, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions, and the requirements for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. For projects over $50,000.00 - All Contractors and Subcontractors of any tier that perform work under this contract must comply with the Township of Ridley Ordinance No. 2048 Minimum Standards of Contractor Responsibility. Each bidder must submit a Contractor Responsibility Certification, and if applicable, a Subcontractor list and Subcontract Responsibility Certification with the bid. Failure to submit the documents may result in the bid being rejected. The Township of Ridley reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids thereof, and waive any informalities in the bidding, as they deem in the interest of the Township.
