The Kent County Purchasing Division is soliciting bids for the furnishing and emptying of waste, recycling, and compost containers at various Kent County and John Ball Zoo (Agencies) Facilities. The term of this contract is a one (1) year contract beginning January 1, 2024 with two (2) optional, one (1) year contract renewals. Bid award is subject to the individual Agency Board approval. Waste services included in this solicitation are but not limited to, trash, recycle, cardboard, yard, and organic removal. Waste must be removed in a neat and orderly fashion. Should a spill occur, it is the responsibility of the Respondent to return the area to its original state. All waste must be picked up each scheduled pickup day. At times, an additional pickup may be needed for the Kent County Parks Department outside of the normal schedule. These pickups shall be calculated at the on-call rate. Dimensions, if furnished, are for general reference only and should be verified by Respondents. Kent County reserves the right to award by line item when applicable and to accept or reject any or all parts of a submission. Any and all communication regarding this Solicitation shall be on the Kent County Purchasing Division Kent County reserves the right to determine the response format or not respond, at its sole discretion.
