Reference Number 0000333219 The City of Port Huron; located at 100 McMorran Blvd. Port Huron, MI. 48060, is looking to upgrade the Audio, Video and Lighting systems in the City Council Chambers. It is the intent to replace all of the equipment with new state of the art technology to be able to produce HD content and be able to provide a high-quality product to our community. The City of Port Huron has future plans to relocate to a new facility and move the Council and equipment to a new . It is the intent that this equipment should be able to be moved to another , rewired and set up in a similar manner in the event of a move. All equipment should be able to be configured for a new . It is our understanding that if a move happens that equipment wiring would have to be newly installed in the new facility. The equipment that is contained in this RFP is based on industry standards and is being used in other similar communities throughout Michigan. The equipment has been researched and found to meet the needs of the City of Port Huron. The scope of work, main components and manufacturers are specified in these documents Question Acceptance Deadline 11/21/2023 03:00 PM EST Questions are submitted online No A bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to the Owner in an amount of five percent of Bidders maximum Bid price or in the form of a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of the General Conditions. If a bid bond or cashier's check is required, an original copy of the bid bond must be submitted in the binder marked Original. Proposals may not be delivered via facsimile or email. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, to award the proposal to other than the lowest price contractor, to negotiate the terms and conditions of all and any part of the proposals, to waive irregularities and/or formalities, and in general to make award in the manner as determined to be in the City's best interest and its sole discretion. The Owner is seeking to install semi-permanent audio/video systems in the City Council Chambers and Control Room.
