The Project includes: Phase 1 - Provide site demolition, construction, and installation of vaults, conduit duct banks and other site improvements necessary for the installation of two switches and cables in relation to the planned demolition of Hamilton Hall. Feeders will be rerouted to the new corresponding vaults. With the exception of miscellaneous landscaping, civil work will be completed before the arrival of the medium voltage switches. Outages shall be limited in duration, phased, and coordinated in advance of the UO to preferably take place during UO's summer vacation period. The utmost priority will be purchasing any long lead items (eg: switches, cabling, etc.) in order to have them available once the associated civil work has been completed. Phase 2 - Installation of two new MV switches on vaults V342 and V343. Installation to begin June 2024 finish by August 2024. Outages shall be coordinated in advance with UO. Scope of Work 2.1 The Work contemplated in this document shall be for the Owner in connection with the Project described in the Project Manual. A Bidder in doubt as to the meaning of any part of the Project Manual may submit a written request for an interpretation to the Architect Question Deadline 10/28/2023 Project located in the parking area north of Knight Law Center, area between the Museum of Natural and Cultural History, Global Scholars Hall through to Moss Street, west edge of Hamilton Hall, and Bean East and West, all on the University ofOregon campus, in Eugene, Oregon
