The City of Carrizo Springs will be receiving proposals to replace the Civic Center Balcony Deck. The scope of this project is to design and install a new 17x50 balcony using 2x12 and 2x6 for an existing structure, installment of new beams, and inspection of remaining lumber. The balcony will be constructed with durable materials to include treated wood and coating that resurfaces existing wooden decks by filling in cracks and taming splinter (comparable to Behr Advance Deck Over) and designed to meet all safety regulations and requirements. Removal of wrought iron fence around balcony. Reinstall wrought iron fence around newly constructed balcony. Demolition and removal of existing 2 x 6 decking boards and bracing. Demolition and removal of existing joist and adapters between joist Demolition and removal of 4 beams and bolts/U brackets. Replace and Install 4 new beams. Install new joist with new adapters. Construct and install new decking boards to custom fit existing framework. Apply sealant to all lumber. Apply deck paint to all lumber.
