The Asbury Park Housing Authority is seeking Bids from qualified firms/individuals to perform Painting as follows: Bid Paint occupied apartments. The contractor shall provide all paint, materials, tools and other items necessary to complete the painting work. This contract shall include all the labor and materials necessary to paint the apartments complete and the necessary materials to complete work within the Housing Authoritys schedule. It is the intent of these specifications to generally describe the contractual obligations to be furnished under the Service Agreement to be entered into by the Authority with the successful Contractor to commit the resources of his organization for a period of a year to provide services as may be requested by governing codes and authorities. Apartments-The contactor shall paint all occupied units as designated by the Housing Authority. The work includes moving and protecting the residents furniture. Paint shall be Sherwin Williams, Benjamin Moore interior satin & semi-gloss paint with primer or comparable brand. All surfaces shall be properly cleaned and prepared for painting according to industry standards and the paint manufacturers recommendations. All cracks, holes & wall imperfections must be repaired. All furniture shall be returned to its original position upon completion of the painting. Pricing for closet painting shall be itemized separately. No oral interpretation of the meaning of the specifications will be made to any bidder. Every request for an interpretation shall be in writing, addressed to Danielle Brandon, referencing the Contract Name in the subject line, at dbrandon@aphanj.org. I Bidders shall comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17-27 et seq
