The Parish requires a Contractor to excavate around existing pipe and reseal the exterior of the pipe joint at Place St. Charles (R01E020; S47-T7-R11), and at Place St. Germai (R01E030; S47- T7-R10) in Covington, Louisiana. Question Deadline 10/25/2023 at 2:00 PM CT Any questions regarding insurance requirements please contact the Risk Department at 985-898-5226 or email riskman@stpgov.org The time period for completion of the project is thirty (30) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP) issued by the Parish. For projects costing twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) or more, the successful Respondent shall be required to provide a performance (surety) bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the project cost to insure the successful performance under the terms and conditions of the contract negotiated between the successful Respondent and the Parish. Attorney fees shall be at the prevailing hourly rate of the private sector. The attorney fee hourly rate shall not be less than $175.00 per hour. All attorney fees collected shall be paid to the operating budget of the Office of the Parish President. In case the work is not completed in every respect within the time that may be extended, it is understood and agreed that per diem deductions of the sum of $500.00 for liquidated damages, If the estimated cost of the work is $50k or more a Contractor licensed by the State to do the type of work indicated in Section 2.1 may submit a quote. Issuance of this Quote Request in no way constitutes a commitment by the Parish to award a contract. The Parish reserves the right to accept or reject any or all quotes submitted or to cancel this Quote Request if it is in the best interest of the Parish to do so. The Parish reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to waive administrative informalities contained in any quote.
