It is the intent of Charlotte County to secure the services of a licensed and experienced Contractor to furnish all material, labor, equipment, and all other associated appurtenances required to successfully complete the construction and replacement of infrastructure damaged from Hurricane Ian along Holcomb Road in the Gulf Cove area of Port Charlotte, Florida as described in the documents herein. No Local License (s) is required to perform the services for this project. FDOT Certification required. This project consists of permanent repairs and restoration to County Infrastructure due to Hurricane Ian, at the easement between 3138 and 3146 Holcomb Road in the Gulf Cove area of Port Charlotte. The piped outfall has damage behind and to the seawall that needs to be repaired. The repair will be limited to roughly 21' of the seawall area between the two (2) orange paint marks. Within that area, the top cap will need to be removed, the panels repaired, and a new top cap shall be poured. All shall be dowelled together for strength. The outfall pipe will be examined in the damaged area, roughly 20' from seawall, and repaired or replaced to the extent that will allow the County pipe lining Contractor to line the pipe after this work is completed. All ROW and easement area to be cleaned and reconstructed back to the original condition or as directed herein. All work must meet current standards. During construction, all debris within the project limits shall be removed from the site and disposed of in a legal manner. Contractors are encouraged visit project locations before the Pre-Bid Meeting. Any questions regarding the efforts to reconstruct back to its original condition while meeting current standards must be asked within the timeframe to submit questions before the bid opening. The work under this contract location may include, but not be limited to, the following: o Permitting o MOT o Erosion Control o Dewatering o Clearing and Grubbing o Debris Removal o Excavation o Embankment Material o CAP Drainage Pipe o Concrete Collars o Seawall Repair o Sod o Survey and As-Built Drawings
