The Finger Lakes DDSO is soliciting bids for Sunken Roadway & Catch Basin Repair at our MDC located at 620 Westfall Rd, Rochester, NY 14620 This is a NYS public works project and prevailing wages must be paid. Final Date for Receipt of Questions: November 13, 2023 Any questions not asked at the site visit must be submitted in writing to FL.Purchasing@opwdd.ny.gov within 2 business of the site visit. Franchesca Sagen 585-461-8876 585-461-8811 FL.Purchasing@opwdd.ny.gov Evaluate the sink hole and accompanying Catch basin and make needed repairs on the North Campus roadway leading to RPC. The vendor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 30 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project and prevailing wages are to be paid. Site must be cleaned, and all materials secured at the end of each workday. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of (Sink hole and Catch basin repairs), before removal of equipment, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: Evaluate the sunken Roadway and Catch Basin. Make repair recommendations to OPWDD. Demolish and remove damaged materials. Inspect associated piping, soil, and footings (If applicable) and report any abnormal conditions to the Plant Superintendent. Make recommended repairs according to local codes and NYS OGS specifications
